Volunteer Day @ BVIF!
Volunteer Day at the Bennington Veteran Incubator Farm
Come get your hands dirty and help us build out nursery infrastructure at the Veteran’s Incubator Farm! Many hands make light work, and we’ll need ten or more volunteers to help bring this project to life.
Together, we’ll be moving, repairing, and building air prune beds, constructing new composter bays, and learning about the farm’s mission to empower veterans while strengthening Bennington County’s food resilience.
We’ll provide tools, materials, and warm beverages. Please bring sturdy shoes, work gloves if you have them, and clothes suited for the weather (wear layers!).
No experience needed, come as you are.
Your volunteer time helps create the systems that support local food production and provide opportunities for veterans in agriculture.
RSVPs are encouraged but not required.

We are a community-based organization, and we are nothing without our community! Every hour you volunteer with the District is valued by grantmaking agencies at set rates, meaning your contribution is magnified tenfold and directly supports our conservation work.
