Community Resilience Symposium: Community Economics & Locally Controlled Watershed Management

Join us on November 11th for a demonstration of the Vermont Ripsower and a deep dive into community economic empowerment and Locally Controlled Watershed Management.

Just one month ago, a passionate and dedicated group of citizens of  Bennington County heard from top experts in environmental conservation, regenerative agriculture, flood hazard mitigation, and public policy development.

Working together, this community focus group identified 10 issue areas they considered to have the greatest potential positive impact on Bennington County to explore in greater detail with the aim of pursuing tangible goals to increase our community's overall resilience.

As promised, the Bennington County Conservation District has worked with our partners to hold open the space to continue this vital dialogue and identify resources to accelerate the work of building a more secure and prosperous Bennington County.

We hope you'll join us for this inagural Community Resilience Symposium and discover how we can all lend a hand in creating a prosperous, secure, and resilient future for Bennington County!
