Join the Bennington County Conservation District and the Bennington Veterans Incubator Farm for a hands-on Veterans Day volunteer event!

Help plant garlic for next year's growing season while supporting a local farm that creates opportunities for veterans to develop agricultural skills and pursue farming. This is an opportunity to honor veterans through meaningful community service, connect with local agriculture, and help grow food for the season ahead.

What to expect

• Hands-on garlic planting and farm work
• An opportunity to learn about the Veterans Incubator Farm
• A chance to connect with neighbors and support local food systems

Community members of all experience levels are welcome. No gardening experience is necessary. Families and groups are encouraged to participate, subject to the farm's capacity and site conditions. 

Come prepared to play in the dirt!

This event is hosted by the Bennington County Conservation District in collaboration with the Bennington Veterans Incubator Farm.

All volunteers must sign a waiver form. Printed copies of the waiver form will be available at the event for participants to fill out in-person.
