Be Storm Savvy!

Join the Bennington County Conservation District and local watershed partners this Thursday, September 24 for a free, hands-on workshop about culverts, streams, and flood resilience. Learn why road-stream crossings matter and how to assess them with the Culvert Crawlers community science survey tool.

The workshop will have two parts. First, we will gather at Pownal Town Hall for a brief presentation and introduction. Then, we will scout a local spot, which may require driving to another location only a few miles away.

No experience is needed; all are welcome, sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
