Organic Farming vs. Technology

In modern times, with all of the changes that have taken place in the farming industry, is organic farming just an idealistic idea? Or is it the best choice when it comes to quality and sanitation of products?

Organic farming is an agricultural production system in which the farmers are not allowed to use any kind of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and must follow a strict set of rules for maintaining all the different aspects of their farm. The use of organic farming opposes some of the technological advances that have been made in modern day farming, and therefore the idea of whether or not it is worth it to “go organic” has become somewhat of a controversy.
