     Jim does not know what the future holds for the Mt. Anthony Tree Farm.  He does know that he and his family would like it to stay open.  To ensure this, Jim entered into an agreement with the Vermont Land Trusts that issued permanent restrictions on his deed that says that the land will forever remain open.  It won't necessarily be a Christmas tree farm but it will be forever open.

   We would like to thank Jim Horst for taking the time out of his very busy schedule to sit and talk with us and share his experiences.
